Anti-reflection coatings are designed to reduce surface glare, increase substrate transmission and brightness and offer better contrast definition by reducing surface reflections over a specific wavelength range.

Spectrum Direct dispatch all lenses with a 2 year guarantee. Lenses are rigorously inspected throughout each process we perform, our technicians regularly log the advances of the lens using the latest software, this allows our customers to track exactly where their order is up to.Our machines are regularly re-calibrated and cleaned to ensure correct operation and technicians undertake random batch testing daily to ensure continuity of standards. As part of standard procedure all lenses are inspected for spectral curve, checking reflection and colour if tinting is applied.

Environmental durability tests designed to ensure our lenses will not fade or change colour during use and will not incur damage due to UV light, humidity or moisture.
