Spectra AR Coatings

SPECTRA AR is a cold process, i.e. the substrates are not heated up during the coating procedure. An IPC (ion pre-cleaning) stage is followed by the deposit of the broadband anti-reflection coating and the deposit of the water-repellent layer respectively.

SPECTRA AR is a basic Broadband AR Coating for all common substrate materials for example mineral glass and for customer’s hard coated lenses i.e. CR39, PC, and High Index Materials and Transition lenses.

This is the only available process for cut lenses and unfortunately, due to complex process procedures, we cannot offer any form of guarantee.

Glass cut lenses are covered by our normal process guarantee.
